D-Link India Ltd, a joint venture of D-Link Corporation with Indian technocrat promoters started its operations in India in 1994 as a private limited company. It turned Ltd. in August 1998. D-Link Corporation has 51% stake in D-Link India. It is the only multinational networking company in India that is present by itself and has its own manufacturing units in India.
Headquartered at Bombay with factories in Goa, D-Link has branch offices at Delhi, Banglore, Chennai, Calcutta, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, & Lucknow.The ISO 9002 certified plants in an area of 20,000 sq ft & 30,000 sq ft. have a capacity of manufacturing 1,00,000 PCB’s, 50,000 NIC’s, 10,000 Hubs, 30,000 Modems per month and Structured Cabling components equivalent to 20,000 information outlets and additional 20% spare capacity.
D-Link India Ltd is today the fastest growing overseas business unit (OBU) of D-Link Corporation.
